Case Study

Craving Campaign

THE AIM

The goal of this project was to design a series of assets for social media to promote the new Craving campaign for Olive magazine. Olive magazine is a premium, monthly British food magazine featuring triple-tested recipes, restaurant recommendations, and food-focused travel.

THE CHALLENGE

This campaign aimed to stand out from the previous social media posts and capture a new younger audience, whilst maintaining the clean, elevated look and feel of the Olive brand. Aiming to catch the eye of today's dynamic visual society, the Craving posts needed to highlight the trending food at restaurants around the UK.

THE OUTCOME

Using research and ideation, I designed a series of assets for both Instagram stories and grid posts. These assets focused on bold typography with a bright colour palette that engages the audience through inviting food photography. The playful use of typography particularly compliments the modern font and bold composition, capturing the eye of this new younger audience and standing out from the surrounding Instagram feed.
